Xplore by Active Life is located 250 meters from the Madarao Ski Resort (Madarao Kogen) chairlifts, in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, between Nozawa Onsen and Myoko Kogen. The nearest train station to Madarao Mountain Resort is Iiyama Train Station (pronounced ee-yama), easily and directly accessible via the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station. From Iiyama, the resort is a 25 minute drive.
